Youth to Starter, How Long?

How many friendlies does it take before a youth player has maxed out his BPOS and Team Chemistry for say a 4 star talent?

Just curious how long the total process takes from pulling a good youth to training his physicals to then putting him on the field in his best position for friendlies to then actually making the starting lineup

Since there is quite a bit of random factors in this it is difficult to say how long it will take. Personally I don't mind using a couple of seasons to get a talented youngster ready.

many random factors. but i have players gain 0.5* every 10 games or so.

so if you are only gonna play them in friendlies, it'll take a while to get to being a starter.

maybe play them in league games when playing low ranked teams or bots.

wow thats a long time and I will play my guys against bots but what do the guys in the Top Division do? It must take them forever to get a youngster ready for the big time games

That's what makes them the top guys, a lot of patience, their starters have developed from the very beginning and the smarter of the teams will use the friendlies to develop up and comers.

Just look at Tfisch and the Phalanx, the BPOS is higher for the majority of the players.

I'm sure that bribe to the Admin had nothing to do with it

yeah a lot of patients.... i play my starters 100% of the time and my bpos frankly sucks! I had no bpos movement this weekend from league or friendly games all but 2 of my starters will be 4.5-5* bpos once maxed and at the rate it is coming i am figuring 3+ seasons to maxed bpos my 4.5* ol has moved .5 in 12 weeks so 24 games

iv found that playing almost every game (about 95% of them) a player takes about 35 weeks to get to 4.5 BPOS... have a look at some of the 4.5 guys on my team...... (btw they are all 4.5 -3.5 talent, may take longer for lower talent as admin said talent can affect rate of BPOS growth)

sometimes it feels as though BPOS has stalled, and then it will jump up quickly over a few weeks...

I may be remembering wrong, but didn't Admin say that Experience helps BPOS grow more rapidly? And the "type" of game (Friendly, League, Cup) matters as to how much BPOS your player may gain?
