I think it is. Why wait for the .0001% chance of this happening after the season and end up losing a player because he loses out on promotion despite proving to be exactly equal to the team promoting. If we can figure this out now then it makes it a lot easier should it ever happen.

You never know, they do give us information at the last moment.

The 1 game shall be a batlle royale between all teams in the division. Last team standing wins and moves on. Teams with larger rosters shall have advantages and you'll need lots and lots of doctors.
