Accurate Position Description

As it stands right now, the only thing we know about any positions played by our opponents is whether they were outside or inside. without some sort of graphical representation or accurate description of who is where on the field in a given play we are left to pretty much play a guessing game on what would or would not stop an offense or attack a defenses potential holes, thus rendering scouting all but useless. For example, if you have a Wide reciever that you would like to cover with a given Cornerback, how exactly does one determine where that reciever played? or if you are worried that an opponent is overloading a side, how are we to tell that? what if we want to run away from a particular Lb who got 11 tackles the last game from the outside position? how can we determine that? I suggest we start naming the positions correctly. There is a big difference in how a LT blocks on offense than a RT. a RDE on defense garners the most sack opportunites due to playing on the QB's blind side. If that is not the route you want to pursue then perhaps a graphical representation of an opponents line-up. at least with this method we would not be playing the game for all intents and purposes blindly. heck we don't even know if an opponent runs to the left or the right based on the descriptions of the play. I've been a pretty big defender of the Admins, and an advocate of giving them time, but if we don't have information on how things work, this game will have a much shorter shelf life. no one likes flying blind forever.

We will implement accurate position description into game stats very soon followed by a formation overview graphics.
You have to realize though that the "QB blind side", etc... are very advanced football topics currently not covered by engine (check the engine description in the manual). We are trying (at least for now) to keep the engine simple but fun for all, advanced football masters and newbies (you wouldn't believe how many people are actually getting to know and like American football with the help of this game )
Saying that, it is important to know which wr, cb, lbo... was on the left/right though, that's true, and is covered by engine. And as I said, this info will be added very soon.

I'm ok with the lack of advanced football concepts, I just used that to point out the differences in who plays where. Very cool that we are getting those adds! Thanks for responding!
