Is it wise to have a player in my team playing 2 positions in the same game? WR and Kick Returner?

If I remember right, you will only get BPOS rating points for one position.

Yes, and only 1 player will get experience from game instead of 2.

That's an excellent point and one that new players need to be aware of. By playing starters at 2 positions, even special teams, they will only get bpos for one position and it may slow the development of bpos on the main position they'd like to play that player at. The only position I would suggest doing that for is CB and STCB, though they need to understand CB's need tackling and STCB's need blocking. But both positions get CB bpos.

To address the main point, I started one of my WR's at KR to gain team chemistry and by week 6 last season, he was up to 2.5 bpos at KR. It took the entire rest of the season to get him to change to WR as natural position by playing him only there. So to me, one position per player

For the record, I believe that in the case of WR and KR, they would get BPOS points at WR only. I believe special teams comes last when it comes to BPOS.

Personally, I've been playing my old QB/new WR at KR for months now. I haven't a problem at all, in fact he's probably my best bet at KR.

I'd like to say that's true, but I played my WR at KR also and he got his bpos to 2.5 at KR, while his WR bpos stayed at 1. It took me til the off-season friendly to get him to change to WR

Yes, I believe it was determined that ST was processed last, so in the WR/KR case, the KR would get incremented.
