What would be a minimum of blocking for a OL for a team that is 4 months in to this game?

You probably want to at least have 6 or 7 blocking.

Yeah, that sounds good. If you have full coaches, maybe 8-9.

7-9 is fair, wouldn't bother too much more than that at the moment, mostly concentrate on getting their physicals up to cap limit (especially str.)

Agreed. That's more important to begin with, IMO, than training blocking. Once strength gets to 12-13+(for a newer team) then blocking would be my focus.

Yeah, if you don't train fitness and he only gets to 9 or 10, it won't be good.

Errr, if your starting linemen don't start with 15 strength, maybe you don't have the right guys as O-linemen. There are plenty of guys on the TL with 15 strength & decent blocking for peanuts -- you might look there for a few guys to patch up your line until you better prospects are ready.

Edit:

I do believe that's the first time I've ever seen not do it all at the same time..

Edit:

BIG +1

You need players with the right basics, before you add in there skills... no point playing a weedy guy at OL...
