Its quite easy to remember... the sim will check for available players in the following order, the first it finds available, will be the one that carries the ball..

When running Left:
HB-L, FB-L, HB-C, FB-C, HB-R, FB-R

When running Middle
HB-C, FB-C, HB-R/L (If both are present it will split 50/50), FB-R/L (again, if both are present it will split 50/50)

When running Right
HB-R, FB-R, HB-C, FB-C, HB-L, FB-L

so, as you can see, if you had for example FB-L an HB-C, all Right and Centre Carried would go to the HB, Left Carries would go to the FB,

If you had HB-R and FB-L, all Right and Centre Carried would go to the HB and Left Carries would go to the FB..

If you had HB-L and HB-R, HB-R would carry to right, HB-L would carry to Left, and they would split carried down the middle..

Concerning the passing game, what is the RB action ?
Do the FB and HB protect the QB, on which side, how... ? Can the HB receive a pass ?

currently, HB's and FB's only act as blockers in the passing game, they cannot catch... how they are involved in the blocking is not clear...

It's currently not clear, but for me personally, I will set him to the opposite side I'm attacking to hopefully protect my QB's blindside. If I'm attacking both flanks or QB decides, then I place him in the center

in "real life" I would protect the blind side too, but the game isn't the real game, so I was wondering about this....!
