How to get the ball to my HB ?!

Hello to all,
My team just played a friendly game, and I do not understand why my Fullback carries the ball way more than my Halfback :
- FB position left
- HB centered
- Offense attacking right side
--> my HB carried the ball 3 or 4 times, and my FB a lot more

How can I get my QB to give the ball to the HB so that the FB is more a blocker than a ball carrier ?

Thanks a lot !

don't know why your FB got so many carries. i used to use the same formation and my FB hardly ever touched the ball.
anyways.. solving this is easy. just move your FB from the left side to center. with the I formation, the FB never gets the ball here on GI

Thanks for your answer, but :
> how do you know where my FB was ?
> So if you attack the side where the FB is, the HB will almost never get the ball...?! what's the point of having 2 RBs in that case ?!

Thanks !

If we go to your game and just scroll down, it shows the formations used for the offense and the defense of both teams. The point of running the I-formation is to allow an extra blocker for your HB. Therefore a FB with some decent blocking skill is nice to have if you want to run the ball. If you offset the FB to one side, he will get most of the carries if you run to that side. Running to that side is one of the options in your match orders (i.e. Attack right flank or attack left flank). In the I-formation, your HB will get all the carries

if HB and FB are on the same side (left, right or center) hb gets ball regardless of side
if play goes to side without any player, HB gets ball
if play goes to side with fb but not hb, fb gets ball

I guess, if play goes to side with FB-side and HB-Center, the ball goes (always ?) to the HB, correct ?!?!
What if plays for ex to left, with one FB-C, one FB-L and one HB-Center ?

Thanks !

In your example the FB(L) would get the ball.
