My OL can't focus on blocking (which is only available for D players who normally never block) and D-men can only focus on tackling, agility and the yet mentionned blocking, ... it's a bit light for D-men.
Something that may be improved in S2.

Am I right in saying that you are physical unable to use the "Focus on" option for training?

No i can but only on selected areas i put my QB's in passing, my WR's and TE's in catching, my RB's in carrying, my LB's in tackling and finally my CB's and SF's in agility, also K can train on either kicking and punting.
Cheers.
EDIT: You have to change the type of group (Attacking, Kicking, Defending and Tactical) and normally you have access to all the attributes that you can improve (i'll check later on).

Any player can focus on anything if wanted i can have my QB focus on Punting or blocking its all in the "Group" Drop down box then the setting in the "Focus on" box as you change the "group" one
