Just a quick question that I really feel I should already know the answer to by now.

I note in the FAQ about prize money it lists the levels and the amount to be won all the way down to the 8th level. Also, in the FAQ about crowd attendance it talks about basic attendance being 60,000, but reducing down to 6,000 for the lowest level with a reduction of 6,000 per level.

The question I have is what are the levels - I had thought that there were only 5 levels i.e TD, II, III, IV and V - but that can't be right .

Thanks

Actually it goes on eternally, but I doubt it will ever be required I think level 5 will be the most needed for a long time.

From the FAQ:

League level
The basic attendance is lowered by 6.000 for each level below the first; 54.000 for second level, 48.000 for third, 42.000 for fourth, and so on until the basic attendance is 6.000. The basic attendance stays 6.000 after the tenth level.

Guess from level 9 and down managers wont get winnings at the end of the season, since that list stops at level 8.

quite true... although not sure either of the previous posts said it had a limit ;-)

can you imagine the number of players needed to go down to lvl 9... works out at lvl 8 having around 21000+ teams in it... just get get level 9 to be created, and thats not including the teams above it.... can you imagine what the forums would be like?

and thats per region lol....

was interesting to see asia added level III last season when the NFL started... thats a small region lol

I actually did the math some time ago and if there is 10 levels, then there isn't enough time in the season to do the entire cup.

lol yes, think that math was done by a few people, in fact there were some threads on it if i remember rightly... would be funny having to play the 1st round of the cup before the final of the previous cup had been played lol...

Simply put, what would happen is that not all teams would make the cup. Lower level teams would be excluded if it ever got to that point.

your assuming.... should learn never to assume with this game...

after all how would they decide which teams fairly? they have mentioned before that they would not do a bot flush becasue there would be no fair way of promoting teams correctly...

It's an educated assumption, though. The only game I know of that is big enough to have had that problem is hattrick and that's how they do it.

As for who gets in? TD, II, III...etc until you can't put an entire level in. Then that division gets split up by rankings if we have them by that point or just put in randomly.

This is all hypothetical, though, as GI will never get that large. Again, I'm assuming that GI will never be that large, but I'm right, so that's ok.
