Can Consistency be increased or is it a fixed statistic that never changes?

Sometimes he'll play 13% better, other's 13% worse, it's like gambling.

Personally I'd want my QB and kicker to have high consistency. The rest I don't really care about. The chance to have a huge game makes it worth it to me.

But for me the chance to have a poor game when I need an average one kills it for me.

Overall, some managers like consistency in certain areas(QB, K, OL), and a very low consistency in others(TE, DE). It's really all just a gamble though. I wouldn't let poor consistency keep me from starting somebody clearly better than someone else though, ever.

if your kicker has low consistency you might end up like the Bills "Wide right" but when it comes to an spot for me i like them to be high so reason for a player to take a nap during the game when others can play the full game with out taking a nap with lower cons

Yeah if it's a position like WR where there's another one out there to hopefully pick up the slack that day, I don't mind playing low consistency at all.
