3. How much experience do the players gain in a match?
Each friendly game a player has 50% chance to gain 1 point of experience. Each official game a player has 75% of chance to gain 1 point of experience. Each AFLC game a player has 100% to gain a point of experience plus 50% to gain another.
So from this, it doesn't matter how good or bad the team you play in the friendly is, you get the same chance to get experience.

75% sounds like an awfully good chance ... i wonder what other factors go in. I can't be that unlucky! ha!
This part I'm not sure about, but I think I remember some discussion a few months ago about it.
1 point doesn't equate to 1 star (or even 1/2 star) of experience. I think it was determined that each 1/2 star was further divided into a certain amount of points. I don't remember what that number was, or if it was even known. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this. I had forgotten this part until your response, which jogged my memory of having similar thoughts months ago. Maybe someone with a better memory will clear this up, or knows the link to the previous discussion.

afaik 5 stars = 20 points
so
1 point = 1/4 star.

Correct.
There are 100 possible experience points, each star therefore equating to 20, and each half star to 10 experience points.
