QB's and strength

How big of a role does strength play for a good QB? Does anyone know of a low strength QB (12 or less) who does well in Div III or IV? I'm looking at my options for a long term QB and I'm a little worried about a couple possible players with capped strengths. A couple other players have high strength, but I'm tempted to make them really smart OL, LB or DL if I can get away with a weak QB.

To tell you the truth, strength doesn't really make a difference for a QB. It is nice to have, but it is not needed. My QB has 18 strength and it really doesn't make that much of a difference at all. I would have to say the most important skills for a QB is passing, vision, and intelligence.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I've been trying to find a high intelligence player with decent vision and passing to train. I saw a list of important skills in a newbie guide, and strength was listed as a secondary skill. So I was just curious how strong a QB really needed to be.

I guess it might help when he decides to run? But it probably doesn't help passing the way it sounds.

Thanks.

So we should rework the list, who would like to help?

the only help strength might have is when the QB decides to rush.

yeah, I'd agree with

Primaries - Passing, Vision, Intellegance

Secondrys - Strength, Stamina, Footwork

Would speed not be beneficial? When my QB capped at 12 speed, I was very disappointed.

In real life, I'd say footwork is extremely important for a passer. During last weekend's NFL games, I even heard Troy Aikman say that the most important factor in accurate passing wasn't a QB's arm, it was his footwork. Whether that holds true for GI is up for debate though.
