I was wondering if a player has the same rating on game day as he does when you look at him in your roster. I have an LB who has a rating of 3 1/4* but on game day he's only listed as 2 1/4*

There are several factors that play into a game day rating. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, it includes a player's skill set, BPOS, Team Chemistry, Consistency, and of course "flavor."

His rating is probably low because of Team Chemistry, of which he only has 2.5 of the 5 stars.

ah ... i guess the next question, then, is what is the best way to raise team chemistry. Some of my players are off the charts others still low.

Is it solely dependent on 'teamwork'?

Teamwork goes up 1/2 star for every game the player plays.

I believe you mean chemistry. Teamwork is one of the fixed attributes(along with intelligence and consistency).

I'm also not sure if a player is guaranteed to gain a 1/2 star in EVERY game, but you are right that a 1/2 seems to be the most they can gain in a game.

The rate at which Team Chemistry improves is completely reliant on Player Experience. A 5* Experience player will have full team chemistry in about 10 games, whereas a .5* Experience player will take about 20.

ugh ... 2 ... but i thought that just determined the 'frequency' they played at or around their skill levels.

So if a player has a 10 in tackling and a 20 consistency then would always tackle as a 10. But if he has a 2 consistency then some plays he may tackle as a 5 and other plays he may tackle as a 15.

so i doesn't make sense that lower consistency would just give him less *'s in general. It should fluctuate up AND down.

No?
