I am have alittle trouble with the setting for field goals. The following happened in a game I played today.

3rd-16-SEL91 Rush Zack Lawson runs for -1 yards. Tackled by Jonas Svensson.
Punt Nice punt by Oscar Blake for a touchback and the offense will take over at 20.

I had 9 yards to the endzone but ended up punting the ball. I have set the FG option to kick a FG>25 yards what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help.

You have to deduct 17 yards from the distance to find the actual spot on the field you will kick from. 10 for the endzone and 7 for the snap.

So in your specific case you were 1 yard away from kicking the field goal

Sadly the Field Goal/Punt/Going for it settings are quite poor and not very useful to be more effective in field position management...

Your 4th down is 10 yards from goalline the ball is snapped 7(?) yards backwards to holder, and goalpost is additional 10 yards behind goalline. Added up that would have been 27ish yard attempt.

It is a shame the FG system was changed this season. Last seasons system was far better. Playing top of the table team in this game mind you I am 35-7 up but it is still annoying.

Thanks for your help
