Whenever there's a FB and a HB in the same zone, the HB will get all of the carries. If you moved it to say HB(C), FB(R) and attacked down the right flank, the fullback would get pretty much all of the carries(from what I understand).

In the formation you use, the fullback is used as nothing but a blocker.

"most" of the carries I think it's a minimal chance for the FB to be selected.

I remember the HB blocking update a couple of seasons back.
The Admins stated that HB would now also block but not as effectively as a FB. They made no mention of pass vs. run blocking but I've always assumed they were talking about both.

All pass plays are play action

So Merc ... and this question is in all sincerity ... My team lead off with a FB rush and my FB is getting a similar rushing percentage to the first game i mentioned?

thoughts on why and the discrepancy with your experience with FB?

Yeah, but WR's aren't blocking on Run plays as far as anyone knows, so I don't think this necessarily follows.

in the situation with an offset I the back in the middle will get preference both in the center runs and the runs to the side that the offset back is not on. if you choose to prefer right and your HB is on the right. the FB will correspondingly drop his carries. if you choose attack the flanks however, the HB will get the carries to the right and the fb will get most of the carries to the left

May be true, but...does anyone know that WRs don't block on run plays? Depending on how the CBs play my WRs, I'd throw them off the field if they didn't block on run plays.

knowing for sure? NO. At least there was no difference when I switched WR and TE on rush plays...So I assume Steve is right
