Yep. And from what we've been told energy is so important that it's well worth the loss of a few training points a week to keep it at a high level.

buckeye,

what does it mean to lose a few training points a week to keep it at a high level?

To keep energy at a high level. From everything we've been told, players start really playing bad at 90% energy. The only way to get energy back quick is to rest them(no training points) or set it to very low(very few training points). So while there is a loss of points between high/very high and average, IMO keeping the energy level up more than makes up for it.

dig, so does that mean I can keep individual players 'out' of training? Or does the whole team have to be set to low or very low?

thank you so much guys ... this is great, great help.

Just another thing on the energy front....while i suspected it might be important I found out for sure when I beat the only other decent team in my division quite soundly whom by the looks of their team I had no right to beat. All 5 bpos O-line and most other players in the 3.5 to 5 bracket while I was averaging about 2 - 2.5 across my team....the difference was my 95+ energy to his 60 average.

....subsequently I think that coach has gone on a purge and given up on this season and is building for next year....here comes div ii

......hopefully.

Energy imo affects directly the "in game perfomance" of every player.

Combined with stamina it seems for me to have a major impact.

Taken from the FAQ from Team HB:

How does stamina influence a player's game?
For every point of stamina a player loses 0,1% less energy. With stamina 1 a player loses 2,4% of energy for every 5 minutes that he plays. With stamina 20, a player loses the basic, 0,5% of energy every 5 minutes of the game.

In case it works equal here in GI this would mean:

Player 1: 1 Stamina - 100% Energy at beginning -> 61,2% Energy at end of the game

Player 2: 1 Stamina - 70% Energy at beginning -> 31,2 Energy at end of game

So players with lower energy and low Stamina levels will be much faster exhausted and wont play up to their max abilities.

The other way round: high level of stamina will keep a player fresher throughout the game.
