Making deals?

Lately I've noticed people posting in the ads to pm them to make deals. As far as I know there is no way to make one on one deals, correct? I mean you can put them back on the market if they don't sell, but does a deal mean that you would put them up for a sale that the other owner would pay? Sounds weird to me.

Pretty much, they just mean send me a pm and if I like the offer enough, I'll put him on the transfer list for that price.

That's what I tend to see normally happens. An owner will find out how much someone is willing to pay and then put the player up for sale knowing that most likely they've got that much coming in. Then anything extra because of any possible bidding war is just extra cash for them.

Personally, I don't like the idea and I never take part in it. I've had plenty of times where I was interested in a player until someone asked me 1 how much I would pay for him and 2 what the best time for the sale to end for me is. At that point, sorry I'm out.

Haha. That's the best part.
