Hey guys,

i have a big problem with one of my Runningbacks.
In about one of three rushing attempts he fumbles the ball.
Is there any possibility to improve that? Or at least a reason why he fumbles this often?
His stats:
SKILLS
Positioning 3 Tackling 2 Punting 2
Vision 5 Blocking 1 Speed 14
Intelligence 12 Passing 2 Strength 7
Footwork 3 Catching 5 Agility 4
Carrying 7 Kicking 6 Stamina 1

Thank you in advance,
Don

He'll get alott better once his BPOS goes up.

But 1 fumble out of every three, or even five rushes is alot.
Although I reccomend just staying with the team you have now, and building up your stadium, if you really want, you could buy a guy on the transfer market. You can check out the Ads section under Forum in Community. Being a young team, it's just gonna take a ton of patience to build your guys up.

Edit: I checked out your team some more, and here's more advice, lol. Only play your offensive and defensive starters in one position. I see that your RB is also your KR. This will lower the chance that he gets BPOS points as a RB, therefore making the transition longer for him to get better.

And he's not really that bad, according to his league stats, he has 96 rushes and 4 fumbles. If it's this last game that is what is concerning you, you were just way outmatched. But not to worry, teams can go from new to respectable in just a season or two.

Thanks for your answers and tips.
I wasnt opnly looking at the last game, but at all games.
And he fumbles really a lot...a lot more than my the other running back I played in most games.
I just wonder why he fumbles this often...
Would it be possible that the QB is involved in this problem, too?
Probably making mistakes when giving the ball to the RB?!

Edit:
I checked out all matches again and I have to say, that he is actually not that bad....but he still fumbles a lot and especially fumbles a lot more than my other RB.
I also saw, that he fumbles more in late game, so I guess Stamina plays a role in fumbles.
The other part seems to be the oponent'S defense.
More fumbles when playing vs a god team than vs a Bot for example...

regards,
Don

the QB theory is highly unlikely. this game is not yet sophisticated enough for you to have these kind of problems. maybe it's just, like stud pointed out, that your RB needs a higher rating.

Get training the carrying skill, from what I remember this determines the fumbling aspect

that's what i thought, but his RB has 7 carrying. that should be enough to not fumble 3 out of 5 carries, right? so there's gotta be something else we have to take into consideration.

I would go with freakinstud on this, so BPOS and the quality of the opposition he's playing against.
