I'm playing against a RB who averages over 10 yrds per run.

What positon best protects the run game and what should he be good at.

Thanks

Probably Linebacker, if you have three solid linebackers with at least 7 tackling then you should be fine.

You'll need some good DT's with high blocking stats to tie up their OT's, stop the run or possibly get in a sack.

Playing too many will leave you open at the back which will make your opponents pass game easy so you'll need a good balance.

Really? people train defensive linemen in blocking?
Have any success with that?

Hmm..I'd assume tackling is more important, but blocking prolly wouldn't hurt I guess..

I wasn't mocking you. I was curious if blocking actually helped.
You actually might be on to something. You have a DE with 5 sacks. I will be scouting him on Thursday when i get more scouting reports
