are you automatically entered into the regional cup or do i have to sign up or do i have to be the best in my division table?

You are automatically entered at the start of the new season, first game is usually in week 2 or week 3

Yeah most bots are knocked out early. You guys both took over bots, and unfortunately they were out of the Cup already. You will be in next season though.
