OK, maybe I'm an idiot (my wife would agree :lol, but I just don't understand the purpose of those ratings. What are they for? They don't seem related to the player ratings on the roster.

I still don't understand how they are truly beneficial. I'm probably not understanding the concept. Why do the ratings go down in a game? Do they start out what their current player rating is? How would you use these ratings?

the starting ratings are the layers ability in the position, so are a combination of skills, BPOS, etc

the ending ones are the starting ones, but taking into account how tired the player is (stamina effect) and if they played relaxed ( if your bot stomping etc) at the end of the game...

quite simple really...

it tells you firstly if ont player is playing a position better than another, secondly, if one player is ending matches poorly, so may need stamina improved etc.. there are ltos of ways you can use it, as with everything....

Yep. Let's say you lose a game 7-3 on a touchdown late in the 4th. You then check the ratings and notice that all of your players lost a full star while most of your opponent's lost a half(with some losing none). You can then be fairly sure that the difference in the game was stamina.

What would you say the right amount of stamina is required? I'm sure it is less for a QB compared to an Oline or Dline. I wouldn't want to waste time training stamina to a point of diminishing returns.

I'm not sure on that one. I'm a stamina freak and have most of my guys over 10 with some pushing or over 15. I don't think you need that much, but I've definitely seen it help me in Cup games. I would say if you can get most of your guys between 5 and 10 you should be good in most games. You'll run into a few teams with higher, but if you're the better team you should still win.

The stamina required seems roughly proportional to the primary skills, in order to keep the rating loss to less than 1/2 star through 4Qtrz ....
