--------------------Vip-----Exec----Seats
Investment------700-----400-----250
Maintenance-----7-------4-------2
Sales-------------82,5----45------15
Profit-------------75,5----41------13
Inv / Profit-------9,27----9,76----19,23
($/wk and weeks)

Constructing seats takes two times more weeks then vip or execution boxes to cover the costs. According to the manual, the current streak can in or decrease the attendance. Since I have just started, my streak is all red. Also weather has effect on whether the people are coming or not. So I could make it 50% vips and 50% execs, if I wanted to be careful.

The (next) question is, how much to construct? Or how much money should a newbie coach invest? Im currently playing in Atlantic Europe, Div. V.69. When playing in fifth level, the basic attendance is 36,000. The maximum capacity is 132,500 and the maximum vip capacity is 3,500 which is 2,64% of the maximum. For attendance of 36,000, the same percentage of vips is 951.

Should I expect 951 vip (and 2,445 exec box and 32,604 other) customers to show up for about every night Im playing at home?

Another way of view is to look how much money I have above the -440,000, and not to buy/hire anyone for certain amount of time.

Does the weather have same effect on different types of attendance? Or is it more comfortable to have a vip-seat than a normal seat when its raining?

ps. I dint know watching football could cost that much. How much do you have to pay for a ticket to high school, college and pro football game in US?Last edited on 2009-11-09 at 22:23

Build VIPs till you run out of money, and then Execs till you run out of money once you've completely built the VIP seats. As long as you're below the 36.000 in Div.V, you'll sell out every league game. In friendly games you will not sell out once you hit a certain number of seats, but that is after you've completely built out VIP and Exec seats.

You could of course choose to focus on results on the field sooner, buying players and better coaches etc., but my advice is to build a solid economical foundation (i.e. stadium...) first.

I have $ 366,813. If I wanted to have a safe margin of 50,000 I could invest 350,000 + 366,813 = $ 716,813. 951 vip seatings costs $665,660 so I could construct those 951 vips. If I had the guts.

The end of season prize money is desirable. And those 6000 more spectators who of course would not come because I spent the construction money on the wages and still would have the same 1000 regular seats.

The prize money for winning 5th level division is $ 329,000. For playing 0.5 league games and 0.5 friendlies in a week for 18 weeks (season), the 951 vips will pay $ 1,292,332.08 in 18 weeks. (Using $82.5 income per vip ticket, maintenance $7). Sum up the cup games yourself. We were already out when I got the job.

You can only invest "positive" balance! There are no "active" loans in GI.

The -400K are just an insurance - when you go into red figures, you cannot buy anything until you have a plus balance

Team form plays a big factor in the minds of the spectators. They are much more willing to come and root for their team if the team has a good league run and less willing to come when the team hits a bad streak.

Does it make a difference if I win or lose a friendly game? Are they counted in the streak?

Edit:
"...if the team has a good league run..."
Im sorry, of course they are not counted in.
