I have read that both of these skills are important to some degree for all positions, some obviously more than others. Has anybody put together a position by position min numbers to be acceptable for optimum performance for each position? I have started to do this and I think 18-20 intel and at least 10 positioning is for QB, for example.

I think most people agree that Intelligence is required at the QB spot. Not sure there are many that believe positioning is key...

Of course, all we make are educated guesses. Positioning might be absolutely huge in the calculations, for "Pocket Presence" or for handoffs to the RB, or possibly even for Throw Placement. It all depends on your interpretation of positioning.

i only truly value Intelligence at QB or LB and im not even sure if LB really need it
