By playing a player on both sides of the ball you loose out on one of the position rating increases, so it isn't a good thing.

So my (only) loss is that some other player, who didnt play, will miss the 'positional rating increase'? Did i get that right.

I'll go lower on special teams and QB's though.

Exaclty what i was thinking. So we got a few positions. I put it this way: what are the positions where stamina is the most crucial? Wideouts and DBs?

Those are both good ones. I'd say the lines too with the beatings they take.

Staying on the topic of formations, I would like to add that you are able to position your players on both sides of the field: Offence and Defence, and there is an additional page for special team. However, it will come at a price - As this game is still in it's Beta season, we are unable to produce numerical values, which state the difference, yet, we believe that a player will perform at a lower standard.

Also it helps keep the wages down until I get a bit further up the ladder...a few seasons doing mainly fitness training and you soon get the stats up.

My newbie team has 4 to 5 stamina on average. Varying from 1 to 7. Maybe i should put players with worst stamina to defence and try to keep my offence on the field.

Why not having good key positions on both sides?

More stamina for LB and DLiners and OLiners
Less Stamina for CB and SF, QB

Depending on your plans put stamina on RB for run game or TE/WR for pass game.

I wouldnt like to have a strong offense and a weak defense or vice versa.

What i meant was to encounter bad stamina on the defence by controlling the ball. By winning the time of possession. If the defence is not on the field, they wont get tired so much?

Btw isnt it the physical presence - speed, strength, stamina and perhaps agility - how you succeed in lower levels of this game? The differences in skills are quite small.
