I have a stud that i would like to play both on offence and defence. What kind of stamina do you recommend him to have? Is there any particular position which requires less stamina?

How much stamina should be considered when selecting the first team? Is 1...2 out of question?

By playing a player on both sides of the ball you loose out on one of the position rating increases, so it isn't a good thing.

I am aiming at getting all my players to 10+ in stamina, except the special team players.

This is my breakdown for reccomended stamina per division:
TD:9+
II:7+
III:5+
IV:3+
V:2+

So for my guys, I like 5+ stamina. If I had a player I wanted to play on both offensive and defensive since I'm in Div.III, I'd prefer he have at least 10 stamina.

Some people though place much more importance on Stamina, others much less. This is simply my view.

Put me in for much more. Some of my guys are over 15, and pretty much all of my starters are over 10. I'll go lower on special teams and QB's though.

Div 3,4 and 5 are too low, at least for central european leagues. Div 4.x needs at least stamina 5+, and from my own experience in D3 you will run into trouble below Stamina 7 for your starters.

The majority of my starters have 4-5 stamina, and I just lost to Boise State 13-7. I find the main skills have a much bigger impact.

Example, all else being equal, would you rather have an OL with 10 Blocking and 5 Stamina, or 5 Blocking and 10 Stamina? For me, I'll go with the blocking.

i expect we will see in the future, as wages need to be kept in control so skill etc cant go up, stamina levels rise to record levels... i could quite expect to see 15+ being standard in TD in the next 3 or 4 seasons..

Perhaps Stamina plays a bigger role in Regional Cup games than league games? Since you've done so well in the cup, but not so much in the league?

Agreed. I'd expect the numbers I gave to go up by one or two for the next 3 or 4 seasons.

So my (only) loss is that some other player, who didnt play, will miss the 'positional rating increase'? Did i get that right.

Exaclty what i was thinking. So we got a few positions. I put it this way: what are the positions where stamina is the most crucial? Wideouts and DBs?
