few ways you can find them.... firstly you can "cold call" (Send out friendly requests to people at random) or you can look for someone advertising for a friendly..

The Adverts can be found if you click on the "Community" link on the top bar (the same one you use to get to this forum lol) and on the left side, underneath "Forum" it should say "Ads", in that there is a tab fro friendly ads (you can even post an ad of your own.. But please make sure its the Friendly Ads section NOT the player transfer Ads section lol)

to requests a friendly, you need to send out a "Challenge" If you go to another teams page, where there stadium is shown (if they have a supporter account) there should be a small box that says "Challenge" click on it and you can set the venue you would like to play at... IF challenge box is greyed out / you cant click it, it means they already have a friendly arranged for that week.

you can arrange one friendly per week, played on a Monday.
