to check your field goal box. My punter had a couple touchbacks for the first time ever. Of course he punted from the opponents eleven and sixteen yard line respectively. (almost put respectfully lol).

Also remember that you have to deduct 17 yards from the field goal range now. So < 35 is field goal attempts from the 18 yard line or less.

doesnt really change anything though
the kick will still be the same distance so if your kicker wasnt able to make over 35 yarders to begin with, then dont raise the distance

Huge difference! Kickers became 10 yards worse, since they could kick a field goal from 28 yard line last season, but this season it is 18 yard line. The distance of the kick is the same yes, but huge difference in where on the field you attempt from.

i understand that but its a matter of can you make the field not just where the ball is.
if you would like to kick it when the ball is on the 28, but have a kicker that simply cant make 45 yarders, then you cant kick it from there

but i would go for it on 4th down instead of punting from the 19 yard line
