There is a time limit between how often you can made an ad. Neither can you make a new one if the old one is still there. Not a great system, but it is better than not having an ad system at all.

I have checked and my last ad was posted on 18 September, so hopefully I will be able to put a new one up tomorrow. Trying to arrange friendlies by responding to ads seems like a waste of time - presumably success rates improve as your stadium gets bigger.

Incidentally, if anyone does want a friendly please feel free to challenge me (I know it's a bit cheeky to post an ad here through the backdoor - but hopefully the powers that be will forgive me just this once!)

may be a little after that, as it seems the old ads are removed from the list at regular intervals (possibly every hour?) once they have expired...
