YES
So if you set the rush (run) percentage to 80%, then they are gonna run the ball 8 ou of 10 times, and pass twice

In the old system then you were right, but with the new system we honestly don't know yet.

If the new system is based on the same as the new then you are right, but with the law of probability then it should even out over time and make the percentages fit nicely.

I would actually be disappointed if it DID work out perfectly with the percentages we ask for. As any coach will tell you, you can plan all you want, decide you'd like to establish the run and only pass 40% of the time, but once game day gets there things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes you can't get the run established and the only way to move the ball is passing. Sometimes you fall behind and are forced to pass.

Now with that said, I would hope it's at least close. If I set orders to run 70% of the time and come out and throw 9 passes to open up a game, I'd be pretty upset.

I am sure the random - called spice - is in there! I would be upset, if not. And of course I would too, if it is too much spice...

It says run percentage and not run probability so I'd expect the actual percentage should be close to what is set.

I would think the same, but I know admins love for spice!

its the law of LARGE numbers. its only balances out when you have large numbers. when you have numbers like 50-60 plays, a 80% run could be a 60% or 90%

Agreed. We can't tell how the percentages are working based on one game. It'll take at least a few weeks, and possibly a whole season of averaging it out to see how it's working. I hate using real life when looking at this game, but I think this will work just like it does in real life. Game by game you'll see differences. Some weeks you'll run more than normal, others you'll pass more. But over the course of a season, it should all even out and end up about what you would want or expect.
