when ur players age is highlighted in red does that mean they will retire next season

No it does not, it means that the player is over 30 and could retire.

It seems that my players that are in yellow still improve faster than they get worse. However, for a new team, I would recommend pretty much going with players that are all 20 and under. Just setting a reasonable lineup should be enough to have you beating up on the hordes of bots in the lower division, and then maybe someday you'll make it into a league with 1 or 2 other actual people

Yellow: think about an replacement

Red: you will need a replacement

I would not fire them, but start looking for an replacement is a good idea when they become marked

It should be noted that some of the best teams have QB's that are 27 plus.

possibly becasue QB's take longer to develop? im expecting in a few seasons, to see most of the top teams have there starting QB's at lest 25 years old, with a single youngster back up...

just a matter of the game settling down...
