When looking at a players stats under tab in his profile. There is a number of games he has started.

Does the statistics include Cup and AFLC matches, or just the league matches?

Just did the boring thing of counting through looking up old games, and it is only league games.

always assumed that, but good to know for certain...

would be nice if you could choose what stats you wanted to see, friendlies, league, cup or all....

Well IMO stats from friendlies seem useless because teams arent in for the win. They just want their players to gain BPOS to switch BPOS to test various formations and to make some cash

agreed, but what about cup games? would be nice to be able to choose what you could look at.... but definatly not an "all in one pot' thing... either league only, or being able to select which type of game...

Yes cup and also AFLC +1
But on the other hand some teams only play 1 cup game.

There is no reason that we should't be able to filter and split up stats like that.

In my opinion, a programmer should be dedicated to the interface of this game. This programmer should launch periodic tweaks to the various web screens that make up this game. All of the awesome Greasemonkey user scripts need to be incprporated into the interface.

It the database is designed well enough this data should be able to be easily retreived and displayed.

The player screen should be more robust, the economy screen should be more robust, the stadium screen should be more robust. There are simple things that could be added to make the game feel more complete.

The players stats screen should allow filtering by game types (League, Friendly, Cup, AFLC). It should allow filtering based on position played. I may want to know if Player A had more catches at WR or TE.

The economy screen should have a breakdown of ticket income by type of game (League, Cup, Friendly, AFLC). Maintenance costs should be broken down into line items for all of the various stadium upgrades. Salaries should be split between staff and players.

On the stadium screen, clicking on a section should produce a listing of upgrades made to that section. The information for each section should show how many seats remain to be added.

These are just some examples off of the top of my head.

Great ideas!

But until the point GI has this dedicated GUI developer we will need to proceed with that user script stuff

IMHO, this is the reason why people aren't staying around. There is just no progress made. I'm a paid subscriber through sometime in December, I think, and if there is no progress by that time I won't be reupping my subscription.

Hmm, I'm thinking we really need an icon for "beating a dead horse"
