Hello,

I would like to know how importante is the footwork for the defense. I know that it's important for the DLs but it is really for the LBs CBs and safeties ?
What is its utility ?

Thanks guys

DL
MLB
SS

Imo that guys need Footwork when you talk about Defense. Ordered by importance from high to low

Why does the MLB would need more Footwork than the OLB ?
Same question with the safeties, why the SS need more footwork than the FS ?
Thanks

To be honest I have no idea what the game designers have envisioned with the skill Footwork, so I am just going by what other recommend. Would really be nice with a short description of the different skills, so we weren't stumbling along in complete darkness ...

I asked due a translation issue:

Footwork: is it "how good can I use my feet to stay stable" (like in Offense line) or ist it more "I can run the exact route that was given to me" (example is a widereceiver)

and the Admins answered:

Footwork is both

That is why I think a MLB needs more Footwork than a OLB (OLBs are pass defenders, MLBs tackle rush plays too) and a DLiner needs most of footwork in Defense
