Yep. May take a while to get him to switch his position to QB, but if you play him there long enough it will eventually happen.

I found my answer in the Help/FAQ section so I was deleting the post and as I was doing that there was a reply.

yep, but this is a bug IMO, because nobody (except admins or mods) should be able to delete posts when there are followups!

This is exactly the reason why I use the quote button much more than the reply button.
