Having a total mind blank here...and I'm sure its been asked before;

In my last match most of my players (under match stats tab) were rated at 2-3 stars before and only 0.5 - 1 afterwards except Special Teams who had same at the end as what they started with...what are these stars for? And why did my Offence + Defence end up with less stars??

The stars are to give you an idea of how the player did. The drop is generally due to fatigue, especially if you have players playing on offense and defense or they have low stamina.
