Do CBs miss tackles...

I was looking at some of my matches and on those long WR passing TDs, it doesn't look like the CB ever misses a tackle.

Does the CB not get a tackling opportunity? Or is it not reported?

Or are these just instances where somebody else is covering the WR and my CB aren't giving up long passing TDs?

this was done during the lab rats group:

pass plays:
# of possible tackles: 2
which zones are able to tackle: CB/OLB/MLB/FS/SS
seen combinations (Match-ID example):
CB -> MLB 58091
OLB -> MLB 83527
CB -> FS 83527
OLB -> FS 58094
OLB -> SS 83527

Hope this answers your question

My backup wide receiver just burned the cornerback twice on missed tackles, so yes they most certainly can.

I wonder if it is speed or experience that play a bigger role in missed tackles. I had a guy that had a higher tackling value than another player but was slower. I put him out there and he missed more tackles than guy with lower tackle value.

I think it's both, you cant have butter without the bread
Same in RL speed without strenght is useless. And the other way around.
