I've noticed that a lot of TE's don't have any blocking skills. Is it stated somewhere by the admins that TE don't block in this game?

Or is that just an assumption people are making?

I think the general consensus was that Tight Ends only block on running plays.

I thought the admins stated TE help blocking, and therefor need blocking. Could be wrong but I read it IIRC when they introduced the changes on DE in offseason...

can't remember things that were posted a few weeks ago...

Edit: and yes, run play blocking, cause on pass plays they are receivers...

TE is like OL with some preference for catching. So it needs blocking.

I've noticed that when I put my game strategy to "QB decides" which side the play goes to that it generally goes left when there is a TE on that side whether or not there is one on the other side.

So my thought is that blocking is more worthwhile in your TE/L than a TE/R unless you always choose to run to the right. At QB decides the plays will go left.
