May a Team be given away?

Due to life, I will not be able to continue managing my team much longer. Am I allowed to turn it over to someone else?

It's a little bloated with players but a really good team with only the youth facility and maxing out stands left. I've worked hard to make it competitive and hate to just have it become a "bot" team.

At least I found no rule that says you are not allowed to do so.

Anyway, by handing over your team you take away some of the challenges for the new owner...

I think it would be very unfair for a newbie to get a great team with a stadium that probably took 1 and a half seasons to build.

Good points. Perhaps I'll just offer my players for sale instead, or is that a bit unfair too?

That depends on the point of view:

Yep, good idea, it helps burning some money - GI owners are too rich!

No,bad idea, cause too many good guys are on the market and enter divisions that they normally wouldn't. So especially in lower division it is a little bit unfair.

I would sell all high rated guys until you hit the roster minimum. Also I would create a illegal standard formation to make it fair to my league (and cup) opponents.
