Sorry, but you have to train both. Blocking without strength is nothing, Strength without blocking the same...

Hmmm, if I had to choose, I might go for high strength with decent blocking versus high blocking with decent strength. Not because of performance (I'm not sure which would do better at game time), but certainly the first would be cheaper salary-wise.

it's true to say that both are very much needed for the other to be of use.

i'd train strength up first as it will be cheaper wage wise, then all blocking additions subsequently will be a bonus...

i have bought/drafted for strength,
then let the Train Blocking if their Stamina is around 4
let them play the whole Season. Rating is important too.
If you have decent blocking (7-8) look for agi anf Foot too.
