I'm trying to figure out how much my stadium brings in for a friendly, the capacity is 3460, is there an easy way to figure this out? On your weekly income does it show the entire week's income or the last games income?

The reason is, as stated by masterMark, is that the game isn't sold out. In your situation there were 8.093 fans in the stands.

Now the Ironstreet Raiders have a stadium of 36.200 seats and assuming, that all the VIP and Executive seats have been build, that leaves 23.700 seats as regular seats.

The way a friendly game is filled is by percentage of the type of seat compared to the total amount of seats.

So for VIP it would have been 3.500 divided with 36.200, which is 9.7% and that results in 782 of the attending fans were in VIP seats.

Executive seats are done with the same calculation and would have been 24.9%, which would have been 2.012 fans in executive seats.

You can also calculate the regular seats, but in the end it the rest. So 5.298 fans were in the cheap seats.

This should have given you a friendly income of 78.191.

For the optimal situation the stadium would have been exactly 8.093 seats and contained the starting 1.000 regular seats, 3.593 executive seats and 3.500 VIP seats. That would have resulted in an income of 155.145.

Its $110 per VIP seat, $60 per executive seat and $20 per regular seat. The income is then half when it is a friendly and that amount is shared between the two teams. So in the end it is one fourth of the home game income.

The calculation becomes a bit more tricky when you have a bigger stadium than people showing up to watch in the friendlies. The seats is distributed between the different types of seats based upon how big a percentage they are of the total stadium.

So if you have a stadium with a total capacity of 14.000 seats, that is divided up into 3.500 VIP seats, 3.500 executive seats and 7.000 regular seats, then the VIP seats is 25% of the capacity. The same goes for executive seats and the regular would have the remaining 50% of the total capacity.

If there then is 8.000 attending a friendly then it would be divided up into 2.000 VIP fans, 2.000 executive fans and 4.000 regular fans. Then just take the same ticket values and calculate it again. In this particular situation it would be:

((2.000 X $110) + (2.000 X $60) + (4.000 X $20)) / 4 = $105.000 to each manager.

Ok, so it would just be easier to just let it be, and not try to figure it out? That seems pretty confusing to me.
