I signed my QB not too long ago, and before we get the 'my qb's better than that' debate going thats not really what im after. Im after some advice as to whether this guy has what it takes to be my long term number 1. So what do we think...

Name - Jose Angel Marcos

QB Rating - 2 and 1/2 stars
Talent 4 and 1/2 stars
Age 24

INT 16
TEAM 19
CONS 20

His passing is only currently at a 4, but im working on that of course. Without listing all his stats - just looking at the above in my opinion he is potentially gonna be awesome. I signed him for just...£2000

your player looks really good
just one thing.. what d'you mean by long term i'm just asking this because well he is already 24, and by the time you trained him to be your starter (i'm guessing you do't have your coaches on 20, am i right?), i don't know how long you'll wanna keep him.
but be that as it may... potentially goreat player

Maybe he could be a good QB,
his 2,5 Star Rating helps him,
but he should have well rounded stats too.
for example his Vision, Footwork, Agility, catching, carriyng
should be around 5, dont forget his stamina.
his speed and strength schould be around 10.
thats imho what it takes to make him real good.

well the 2.5 rating will increase. His vision needs a little work, but his footwork, agility catching and carrying (catching as a qb??) are all in the 5-9 area. Strength and speen are over 10

at $2000 he is a bargain - it is just his age that will count against him ... i scouted him and agree has good starting numbers across the board but need to focus training on passing

Thats true Jinto. While this guy is playing, now or a couple seasons from now, he could find another younger quarterback, train him and when this guy becomes thirty, cut him, and use the guy you have been training to fill in right away without much drop off.

He should be a solid QB for a couple of years, then depending on your training could be a great one for a few more. Now your task in the next 5-6 seasons is to find one just as good and younger.

my reference to age was regarding training - the QB has a passing of 4 so even with full training facilities and coaches (which he likely doesn't have) probably won't have enough time to achieve full potential ... it was not a negative merely an observation

Well then you have a really good QB there
carrying and catching are important for ball controll.
Imagine a QB in the shotgun who cant catch

So just Focus on Vision and passing for the next years
and you will have no Problems. Even his Energy will be
at 100 % in 2-3 Seasons
