I checked that earlier, I payed maintenance from the point where the seats are available. I am quite sure! If a seat is not available due construction you have not to pay for....some could use that ...

right, no income means no maintenance. Could be admin can send a short confirmed, but again, i am quite sure about.

You are correct, I chart all my income and expenditures very closely and I am sure of this. You do not pay maintenance for the section under construction. It doesn't matter if the seats were previously built or newly built. You don't start paying the maintenance for anything under construction until the construction is complete. I can only confirm this for stadium construction. I'm assuming this also goes for facilities, but I haven't built any so I can't confirm that.

So this is my plan!

Tonight at 00:30 AM (the night between Tuesday and Wednesday), just after the construction update, I initialize a stadium expansion on one of my stands.

Therefore if I have understood it correct I won't have to pay maintenance for that stand when the economy update happens at 04:00 AM and I can use all my money and go into the reds for few weeks. Not getting near the minus $400.000, so there is no worries with going in the reds.

The build will be done 15 days later on a Thursday, so I basically save 3 weeks of maintenance and still have the expansion ready for my next home game in the league, almost doubling my income per game.

Maintenance is not charged for side which is constructing. Checked and rechecked also on my spread sheet.
