Actually my friends rag on me for not being a fan of any particular team. I used to root for the Lions back when Sanders was playing. Since then I haven't had a favorite team. I've played far too much fantasy football and now I like the teams with more of my fantasy players lol.

But yes, if I were forced to pick a team to root for that I have more or less been rooting for in the past, it would be the Browns. They are like eternal underdogs and who doesn't like underdogs? Besides, they deserve a little love after that whole Art Model thing.

I don't really hate Pittsburgh. I just plain old never liked Roethlisberger because he was always a rival of Toledo in college. He always got beat by Toledo too. Then he goes to the pros and acts like a complete idiot and still wins 2 SBs while Gradkowski gets nothing Oh well, maybe Chester Taylor or Lance more can win a ring this year.

In short: BOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm with Squish on Roethlisberger. I always followed Toledo a lot and came to dislike Miami and Big Ben in those years.

However, I also kind of like him because of his one year he started at QB in HS. I remember him and his Findlay team beating my high school's biggest rival something like 45-42 and he had a HUGE day. Anyone who can do that against a team I hate at least has my respect.

For the Steelers on the whole, I have a huge amount of respect for them and the way they play the game. To me that's how football should be played. But, although I wouldn't call myself a HUGE Browns fan, I do follow them a bit behind the Jags and Lions, plus with the battles Pittsburgh and Jacksonville have had I have to root against them most weeks.

Well, I'm a Bills fan, but after TO joined, I almost wish they'd move to Canada!

I do have lots of respect for the Steelers, especially their D.

Are there any famous football players from Wadsworth-You've got Andy Sonnenstein (spelling?) pitching for the Rays in baseball (thought it might be something in the water).

Thats the best quote i have seen on these forums Poor Trent the guy laughs at McNabb and Romo then get the problem dumped on his lap

Here come the 10 dropped balls a game and him wondering why no one will throw to him

But i will say ill pull for the Bills over Steelers...well ill cheer for almost any team over Steelers except for the Pats and Dallas

I can't think of any famous football players from Wadsworth, but there may be but if there are any they aren't playing right now. Sonnanstine is the correct spelling. His mom was my home ec. teacher in 7th grade, and my history teacher last year is our schools baseball coach and therefore coached Andy while he was still at Wadsworth Highschool.
