Club Shop decision

Hey,

I was wondering if the accounting wizards could help me make a decision. I'm currently in a level V division with an unbeaten record. There are lots of bots in my division and weak humans, so a near-perfect season is probable.

I'm getting towards 500k-550k in the bank and I have a 3815 capacity stadium which I always look to expand. Taking into account that my team is doing well and so could get a few weekly %age bonuses to club shop income, should I:

a) Build a club shop and max it out (550k),

Or

b) Just keep expanding my stadium 'til the cows come home?

I realise it's the done thing to keep expanding the stadium, but I was just wondering if being a successful team with guaranteed W's would warrant a Club Shop.

Help much appreciated.

Until you maxed out VIP and executive I would stick with that. The ROI of the clubshop is not that high than VIP/Exec.

Club shop says...

Basic shop $350,000
Maintenance $3,000
Income $7,500

With the % bonuses, maybe you get another 50 - 70% on top of that in level V? So at best you'll net somewhere around $10k a week assuming I did the math correctly and understood how it works (big assumptions). That means it'd take 35 weeks to just break even. With exec/vip seats, I believe you can break even in 7 games/14 weeks (ignoring friendlies & cup games).

Things get a lot better with the upgrades, but still seems to me you need to max out your exec/vip seats before you even consider it (so basically what pstimpel said above)

I would work on completing your VIP and executive seating first, unless you've got a number of home games in a row and don't have a side of the field that's not generating a lot of income.
