Alright, so I joined the game and noticed that last week we A) Lost and B) Lost money. Do I have to set up ticket prices and whatnot for the stadium? I just need to know how to keep a steady upkeep for money before I worry about getting better players.

You had an away game, which dosen't give revenue. You only get that at home games. You can't adjust the ticket prises.

The best way to keep a steady income is to build seats, and lots of it. VIP seats gives the most income for the expenses.

So how many VIP seats exactly, if I only have just over $200k?

I would recomend building 250 vip. Since you can go 400k in minus 2 weeks in a row, before your team goes bankrupt. And it is important to start building early to get some cash flowing.

Also remember not to build in the stand that allready have seats, since they can't be used when the stand is under construction

Alos welcome to the game

Finances are difficult at first. I'd suggest cutting a lot of the crappy players your might have to reduce salaries and start expanding your VIP (and then executive seats) as fast as possible. Start with the sides of your stadium that have no seats (so you wouldn't lose income because of the expansion). Repeat this after each home game with the income from the game until you have a decent cash flow.

Once you've got a decent cash flow, then you can make some choices about buying players, facilities, coaches, more seats etc.

Well, too late about the side that already has seats lol. That's where 50 VIP seats went. Another 50 went to the opposite side. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait it out. "/

Well, you are far from the first one to make that mistake

I made that mistake too...but got lucky because I didn't have any home matches for two weeks...of course, I didn't have any income for that two weeks either. But I'm still here.

dont forget to play a friendly every Monday.
therefore challenge the people with Stadiums around 10000 capacity.
Every gameday, choose the gameday sponsors on the
economy page, that earns you another 12.000$.
About 30 Players in your team are enough.
Drop/Sell the oldest/expensive Players with 1* Rating.

You can only go 400K in minus 1 week. The second week you will go bankrupt.
