I have several O-lineman . Some of them have sevens in blocking but 8, 9, and 10's in strength. Some have 15 in strength but 2, 3, and 4's in blocking. Which would be the better blocker ?

imo it is better for this special situation to use the high strength guys. In real life strength is much more important than the skill (=technical aspect). But could be I am wrong...

I usually use the best blockers, not really sure though. I'd just add strength and blocking together and use whoever is the best combination of those 2. And you can use other stats, such as footwork, if you still can't decide. And probably use people that can train easily (high teamwork, high talent, and young) so that they will get better faster.

Yeah I had just wondered everything else being equal which was more important . Strength or blocking.

I would use an 8 blocking with 9 strength before a 2 blocking and 15 strength without even thinking about it .... managers forget that this game is a simulation not real life and blocking / tackling is the key to defense in GI .... and then train these guys for fitness "all skills"

Technique over brute strength. Makes sense.

Both here and in real life. Doesn't matter how strong you are, how fast you are, how good your arm is, etc, if you can't do the things that are needed at your position then you're not going to be a good player.

I would agree, but especially for OL I saw int the past strength helping more than the good blocking...but again: could be I am wrong

Strength definitely helps. But many teams get by with smaller, weaker linemen by running certain schemes and making sure their linemen know their roles and technique. Maybe not so much at the pro level, where everyone is big and strong, but at the lower levels this is especially true.
