How does a player gain Team Chemistry?

I know it is by playing games. But is there more specific information about it? Like 1/2 star per game or some more complicated formula?

Right now it seems very random to me.
Some of my players played several games without gaining anything. Other gain almost every game.

From the FAQ;

What is team chemistry?
Team chemistry is the indicator how well the player is “gelled” with his team. Anything lower than 5 stars (meaning team chemistry 20), and the players performance is impaired. With team chemistry 1 (a newly bought or pulled player has a team chemistry of 1) a player plays about 30% worse. Each game the player plays ads 1 to the team chemistry. Players that are experienced can get 2 team chemistry points each game they play. Each point of team chemistry reduces the negative performance by 1.5%.

Look at your players experience and that will tell you how much chemistry he gains per game.

Thanks for the answer SteelerSal.
I do understand what team chemistry is and what is is good for.

What is meant by a chemistry point? A half star?
If that is the case a player should gain half a star after every game they play?(until they reach the max of course)

I does not seem to be the case with my players. They are gaining all right, but it seems a bit more random.

Also define "experienced". How many experience stars would a player need to call him "experienced" and make him eligible for gaining double team chemistry points?

This undefined terminology makes it pretty fuzzy for me some times.
This games jumps from 'points' to 'stars' to 'percentages' and back to points again :-)

Just read the FAQ about training points/percentages. You need to read that 3 times and still you are left with questions/assumptions.

It isnt that difficult
20 Times 1,5 % = 30 %
So if a player has 5 Stars Chemistry he has 20 Points.
So one Star is worth 4 Points (4 times 5 is 20).

Yeah, same with me...I'm more of a hands on evaluate a player in person, in my real life coaching, and having to evaluate a player on GI is alot more difficult for me having to do it with #'s and formulas.
