Hi can somebody explain the Talent stars.As i'm trying to work out there effect on a player

Player is only 17 DL

If a player as 4 **** talent and these are his stats
Positioning 5 Tackling 4 Punting 2
Vision 4 Blocking 5 Speed 14
Intelligence 20 Passing 4 Strength 7
Footwork 3 Catching 3 Agility 2
Carrying 5 Kicking 3 Stamina 1

Teamwork 11
Consistancy 3

Talent

Talent does not just affect the maximum skill levels that a player can reach. It also restricts a players positional rating. The following table shows this:

right.. but again.. his fitness skills don't depend on talent.. they might be capped at 9 or 10 if you ave bad luck.

So my 4**** DL could go to 18 in the DL stats,i think That's right. He can go to 18 in every stat but the fitness stats, and of course teammwork, intelligence, and consistency. The fitness stats are either what they're capped at or 20, and the other 3 are fixed. He will also probably max at 4.5 stars at his position. But there is a slight chance that he could get to 19 or 20 in his stats and get to 5 stars.

Just to make it a tad clearer, the chance he'll get 19 or 20 in his stats is actually pretty good. There's a 20% chance he'll increase a skill level to 19 each time the training points get up to the next level, and a 10% chance he'll reach 20.
