How do I make money?

Is the only way to make money by game day sponsors which pay next to nothing? I've been here for a few months and I don't seem to be getting any money from like anything. Also, my players suck, and I don't know what positions to put them at that would give them their highest ratings. ANY help or tips on how to make money and build a better team would be appreciated.

try to play friendlies in bigger stadiums. Save the money you get from them, and home games, and invest in your stadium. build vip seats first.. then the rest.. regular seats last.
With your players you just gotta try things out. look through the formum to find out what position needs which skills. (for instance check gurudefense's sticky in the rookie forum)

Home league matches (you get all the cash from those), cup matches (you split the income with your opponent) and friendly matches (you only get half the ticket income and then split that income with your opponent). So keep building you stadium bigger (first VIP seats, then executive seats and in the end the regular seats). Try to get a few good away friendlies at bigger stadiums.

Some managers also make money on the transfer market. Personally I have't really had any success with that yet. I have had a few decent sales, but nothing major.

Also winnings at the end of the season.

And as you mention sponsors, but it is important to always remember to pick the game day sponsors.

i see what your problem is now.. you never had any friendly games scheduled. not even does that not give you any money, but you also lose the chance to bulid up your teams chemistry.

Yeah, see, I never knew that friendlies did anything, and I never set my tactics (my players played at weird positions). For teams with bigger stadiums, though, it won't let me challenge them.

yes.. that's because the next friendly game is on monday, and all the managers with bigger stadiums that you probnably tried to challenge, alsready have a friendy scheduled.
keep trying to find one, because playing in a stadium with little seats is better than not playing at all. 1. you get some money, and 2. your players get team chemistry.
And try to challenge teams early next week. ike on monday tuesday or wednesday.

Also Your players energy is in the red! Which means you are training them too hard. Try setting it to very low for a few weeks because otherwise you will keep losing every week. Their energy should be in the high 90's.

you need to find a balance.. i'd say train them on very low for a while now.. until they are in the green at least. then you can put them on low or average. Remember that a player's low energy level can decrease his performance by 30%.
And if you really have such bad players.. maybe it's time to hit the transfer market
you can doi that with ittle money as well, because it doesn't happen rarely that a good player's sold for 1000 or something like that..
