well i'm guessing that's because in reality, you'd also have to pay the scout, so that he get some information... IMHO^^

what's not an option? you can either pay for a scout report, or you decide not to get one.. that sounds like an option to me

Yeah, either I'm doing something wrong or am completely misguided...

If I go onto a player page of someone that I own, I can't get a scouting report on him... why not? Shouldn't I be able to see what the position rating would be for any one of my own players, or am I wrong about what the scouting report tells you?

I'm pretty sure he means that you don't have the option to scout your own players for positional rating? That is not an option at the moment.

yeah yu're right.. but it's been talked about a ot.. and from what i've heard it's gonna eventually be implemented that you can see your own players ratings on all positions

correct, you can't scout your own players which is not OK IMO...this issue as posted many times in suggestions and bugs, but no change until now...

Another use for scouting is to find out how good a team's offense or defense is. Scouting your opponent could be what puts you over the top. You usually earn your scouting money back when you win.
