To make matters more confusing, I have a player that when I first started playing, I changed to a DL. DL wasn't on the list of positions for him, but it became his BPOS in just a few games, around 4-6 weeks I think. After I gained a bit more experience with the game, I decided he would server me better as a LB. I've been playing him there since, about 4-6 weeks and LB isn't even in the "can play here if really needed" group yet. So I don't know if some positions are harder to learn, or if there's some random factor involved and he's just having bad luck this time, or something else entirely.
So if anybody ever figures out a formula for changing position, it will likely be difficult to track anyway.

I have a guy that is supposed to play running back but he plays defensive tackle. He's been for almost the entire time i have played this game. He has not switched to that position yet but he records about 8-10 tackles a game.

I know its not easy, but i think it has something to do with the Positioning of a Player, if its low he needs Longer to change.
Second is the Rating of the Player in each position.
Only other Players can Scout a Player for 2500$.
If you Scout a Player you can See his Ratings for each Position.
This can be an indicator how long the player needs to change.
But first you have to find someone who scouts your Players

I think you might be on to something there Piet Bringer. I just looked over my players and the ones that haven't changed position in quite a few games (and annoying me because of it!) all have fairly low positioning.

ive seen it on my Team too, thats why i mentioned it.
Glad that there is someone who looked for a reason too.

My best Player Po 8 switched in half a season to WR,
A DL with Po2 switched after one Year to CB (Played ST CB also)
is this an indication?
